far and away

Zhe Gu Tian Silkscreen, 240×430 cm, 2007We leave for Beijing tomorrow. There's much about this trip that I look forward to, my first to Asia.

Aside from just the sheer cultural experience, I'm particularly excited about an invitation to visit the studios of the China Central Academy of Fine Arts from printmaker and book artist Leilei Guo.
